My students utilize the online textbook and webpage. I also use the online webpage for labs for students to access tutorials and take interactive quizzes. In the last year I have developed a blackboard page which has resources for the students to use when they are not in the classroom. I need to focus more on this in my classroom.

I have students use the Internet to connect with Spanish speaking newspapers, radio stations, etc. for listening, reading skills that are real and useful - not textbook stilted. This is helpful as early as level III.

I frequently integrate technology--for example, having students explore content-related websites (Oral Poetry Project for poetry unit, state websites for state research project, Ellis Island website for immigration unit, emgames.com for Everyday Math games, live videoconferencing with partner 5th grade at another school, etc.). Students also use technology (laptops, primarily) to demonstrate their learning--through PowerPoints, Word documents, GarageBand, "Thatquiz.com," etc.

I help students to think critically about web sources.

I help students learn how to use online data bases.

I use online sources when I teach.

I encourage students to use technology (videos, power point, etc.) when they design their projects.

I have started a class resource hub for my school in the form of a wiki space. I have set up blogs for book previews and staff summer task groups. I teach students to use various databases to which my school subscribes. I also have used iMovie and have started to help teachers in the process of podcasting.

I use technology to deepen my understanding of what I am teaching. I use culture/affinity-generated online periodicals, blogs, podcasts, and websites to help me access multiple points of view. I embedd technology into my teaching so that students also access multiple points of view.
